Cananga odorata
Native to Asia, this tropical tree bearing shiny, persistent leaves can grow up to 20 metres in the wild. The flowers, yellow when mature, produce the best essential oil. Ylang ylang provides an essential oil whose fragrance is universally appreciated for its warm, flowery, exotic, round and feminine notes. It is hardly astonishing that it is one of the essential oils that can change human behaviour by olfaction.

Dosage
Ingest 1 to 2 drops on a neutral base 3 times a day. Maximum recommended daily dose for the oil: 6 drops - 240 mg.
- Massage :
30 ml of Apricot Kernel Plant Oil + 7 drops of Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil + 8 drops of Hô Wood Essential Oil + 5 drops of Ginger Essential Oil in 1 pump bottle.
Massage the oil solution from the nape of the neck to the lower back.
- In an aromatic and exotic bath:
1 drop of Hô Wood Essential Oil + 1 drop of Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil diluted in 20 drops of Vanilla Plant Oil.
- Use as a vapour to help you let go and relax:
4 drops of Hô Wood or Rosewood Essential Oil + 5 drops of Lime Essence + 1 drop of Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil.
- Massage :
