A healing, repairing, soothing and anti-inflammatory oily macerate, we understand that it has been acclaimed so many times! This oil decongests any vascular or edematous disease as well. Ideal for ailments, but unfortunately photosensitizing, so we avoid exposure to the sun 24 hours after use. This climbing subshrub, 15 cm tall, carries white to light pink flowers found near the leaf base. The persistent, finely dentate leaves are found at the end of stiff stems. Canadian wintergreen thrives on acidic, sandy woods and swampland and bears scarlet berries from October to March.
