Thymus vulgaris
Urinary Tract
"This is a small corky bush, which can reach 40 cm in height. It has small curved leafs, deep green coloured on the edge, which are hairy and twined. The chemical polymorphism of the vulgar thyme has been initiated by Granger and al. in 1963. Between 1971 and 1986, Granger and Vernet and al. identified 6 chemotypes of thyme. It concerns the geraniol, the a-teripeol, the thuyanol, the linalol, the carvacrol and the thymol."

Populus Nigra gemmae - The bud of respiration
Respiratory Health
"Poplar, often planted in wetlands near water, grows quickly. It was considered by the ancients, for its virtues, as a shield tree and its buds were already used for the manufacture of the famous "ointment of poplar" of yesteryear. Several known properties of the poplar bud derive from those of propolis and support respiration."

Laurel Bay Essential oil - 5 ml
Laurus nobilis
Beauty Treatments
Much more well-known in ancient times, where wreaths crowned victors, and in cuisine, where it forms part of the bouquet garni, bay produces a remarkable essential oil that remains too little-used in aromatherapy. Native to the Mediterranean basin, this tree has a smooth, dark grey bark and leaves that are a dark shiny green on top and paler on the underside.
